Why Do You Need PAT Testing?

The majority of insurance companies now ask for all electrical equipment used on-site to have portable appliance testing (PAT Testing) before issuing insurance cover. this is because a large number of fires on premises are caused by faulty electrical equipment.  Also, there is legislation that businesses need to conform with to safeguard staff and customers.

As part of health & safety policy, more and more public and private venues in Southend require all electrical appliances used on site to carry a valid PAT certificate at all times.

If you don't comply to these safety regulations you run the risk of being prosecuted and sued for damages.  Should an accident occur relating to any electrical appliance being used during the course of your day to day work - you may be liable for any accidents, so make sure your equipment is PAT tested on a regular basis.

Each pat testing job is different and so the cost depends on the job but will depend mainly on the number and type of appliances to be tested, so please contact us on 07736670947 / 01206617637 or contact us to get a free quote.
